「オン（On）」が、「ビームス（BEAMS）」、シアトル近郊に本社を置くアウトドア専門小売店「アールイーアイ（REI）」とトリプルコラボレーションしたカプセルコレクションを9月25日に発売する。On FlagshipStore Tokyo Ginza、On Store Tokyo Catstreet、オン公式オンラインストア、ビームス メン 渋谷を含むビームスレーベル取扱店舗、ビームス公式オンラインストアで取り扱う。

コラボでは、「語り尽くせない冒険を」をテーマに製作。毎日のスタイルとアウトドアの冒険をシームレスに行き来できるデザインを施した、テクニカルウェアとデイリースタイルの境界にとらわれないトータルルックを提案する。
アイテムは、各ブランドのインラインの代表的な製品をセレクトし、機能性を重視しつつ、誰もがアウトドアを楽しめるように設計。アールイーアイが運営する企業アーカイヴ「Living Archive」に着想し、デザインには各ブランドの発祥地の名峰へのオマージュとして、アルプスのマッターホルン、日本の富士山、ワシントン州のマウントレーニアのグラフィックを用いたほか、フェードデニム、ニュートラルなアースカラーを採用した。ジャケットやパンツ、フーディー、Tシャツなどのアパレルに加え、バックパックやキャップ、ソックス、シューズを展開する。価格帯は4950〜3万9600円。
コラボに際してオンのコラボレーショングローバル責任者であるジュリア・サイターは「大雨にも耐えうるのに街でも着られる洗練されたジャケット、オフロード向けの機能性なのに日常でも映えるシューズ。スタイルに一切妥協することなく機能性を追求したコレクションは、都会にも自然にもなじむシーンレスなデザインに仕上がっています」とコメント。アールイーアイのBrands部門バイスプレジデントであるイザベル・ポルティーリャは「トリプルコラボコレクションは、3ブランドの強みを兼ね備え、キャンプ、ランニング、デイリーという視点から、アウトドアカルチャーを新しい角度から捉えています」と語り、ビームスメンズカジュアルバイヤーの小林景太は「今回のコレクションでは、三社がそれぞれ違う土地の中で学んだ三社三様のアウトドアを表現したいと考えました。オンの最新テクノロジー、アールイーアイのクラシックさ、ビームスのファッション的な視点をミックスした今回の商品群を身に着けて、様々なシーンでのアウトドアに、各々の形で楽しんでもらいたい、そういう気持ちでコレクションを製作しています」とコラボコレクションについて述べている。
