「ザ・ノース・フェイス（THE NORTH FACE）」のライン「アーバン エクスプロレーション（Urban Exploration）」に、「ベッドフォード（BED j.w. FORD）」のデザイナー 山岸慎平が参画する。同氏が手掛けた第1弾アイテムは、中国本土、香港、台湾の一部ザ・ノース・フェイス店舗で取り扱っている。なお、同アイテムの日本での販売は現状予定していない。

アーバン エクスプロレーションコレクションは、ザ・ノース・フェイスのアウトドアヘリテージとアイコンから着想を得たライン。今回発売された2026年春夏コレクションから、山岸が一部アイテムのデザインを手掛けている。
第1弾は、クライミングから着想を得て製作。袖口の「スリーブガーター」などはロッククライミングのホールドやロープといった要素をディテールに落とし込んだ。
アイテムは「M SHORT MOUNT JACKET」（各2色、320ドル）、「M LAYERED LS CLIMBING SHIRT」（各2色、260ドル）、「M LAYERED CLIMBING SHORTS」（TNFブラックの1色、200ドル）、「M BAND COLLAR SS CLIMBING SHIRT」（各2色、180ドル）、「M MOUNT OVER PANTS」（ホワイトアッシュ・ニュータウプグリーンの2色、180ドル）、「M MOUNT SHORTS」（TNFブラック・ニュータウプグリーンの2色、180ドル）、など全6型を揃えている。今後、スカートやシューズをはじめ、ウィメンズアイテムも発売する計画だ。
