「サカイ（sacai）」が、「カーハート WIP（Carhartt WIP）」とのコラボレーションアイテム第2弾を発売する。2月21日から伊勢丹新宿に出店するポップアップストアを皮切りに、sacai Aoyamaと心斎橋PARCO店および両ブランドの公式オンラインストアで順次取り扱う。
第2弾は、カーハート WIPのアイコニックなキャンバス生地とサカイのスーツ生地をボンディング技術で貼り合わせ、内側に来るはずの生地をあえて表面に持ってくるインサイド・アウトのデザインを提案。異なる生地を組み合わせることでサカイのハイブリッド美学を表現した。
ADVERTISING
展開アイテムは、サカイ定番のデザインにキャンバス生地を落とし込んだウィメンズのコートや、「チョアコート（OG ChoreCoat）」と「シベリアンパーカー（Siberian Parka）」をミックスして製作したリバーシブルで着られるメンズのコート、カーハート WIPの「デトロイトジャケット（Detroit Jacket）」と「チョアコート（OG ChoreCoat）」を組み合わせたジャケットなど全18型。
キャンペーンヴィジュアルには、デトロイトを拠点に活動するゲットーテックのトリオとHiTechとドリーム・ポップ・サウンドで知られるミュージシャンでモデルのパク・スジュ（Soo Joo Park）を起用。撮影はスタス・コマロフスキー（Stas Komarovski）が担当し、パク・スジュのスタイリングはカール・テンプラー（Karl Templer）が手掛けた。
