「ユニクロ（UNIQLO）」のTシャツブランド「UT」が、ルーヴル美術館とのコラボレーションによるコレクションの第2弾を発売する。9月16日にルーヴル美術館と同じエリアにオープンするパリの新店舗「UNIQLO RIVOLI」で先行販売し、日本を含む各国で順次販売される。
ユニクロは、今年からルーヴル美術館と4年に渡るパートナーシップを締結しており、2月には同美術館の名作をモチーフしたUTコレクションの第1弾を発売。パリの新店舗では、同美術館とコラボした作品展示やワークショップを開催し、店舗で気軽にアートに触れる機会を提供するという。

今回のコラボコレクションで、ウィメンズは名作が持つ繊細さと華やかさを強調したグラフィックを使用。ドミニク・アングル（Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres）による油彩画「グランド・オダリスク」や前回はメンズで採用した彫刻作品「アモルの接吻で蘇るプシュケ」などに花のモチーフをコラージュしたアイテムを展開する。
メンズは、第1弾に引き続きイギリスのグラフィック・アーティスト ピーター・サヴィル（Peter Saville）がデザイン。「モナ・リザ」「サモトラケのニケ」「ミロのヴィーナス」の三作品にフォーカスし、所蔵品につけられた「目録番号」や芸術作品の構図に用いられる「黄金比」などの要素を取り入れたグラフィックをあしらったアイテムを販売する。今回のコレクションでは、Tシャツ（各1500円）とスウェット（1990円）に加えて、トートバッグ（590円／いずれも税込）が新たに販売される。
