「Ballerina（バレリーナ）」
この作品の着想源となったのはバレリーナシューズとそれらのファッションシーンにおいての変化です。
トレンドと共に私の関心も高まり、次々登場するさまざまなデザインからインスピレーションを得ました。
まず初めにバレリーナシューズを６種類選び、そのデザインと色に基づいてスタイリングを組むことに。
スタイリングに取りかかるとすぐに物語は一人歩きし、バレリーナたちは作品の中で最終的に描かれたルックで私たちに「語りかけ」、それぞれがスポットライトを浴びて輝き始めたのです。
This work is actually inspired by the ballerina flats and their takeover on fashion.
As the trend kept growing my interest in them grew as well, and so I got inspired by the various designs that kept coming out.
I started by choosing initially six designs of ballerinas and decided to create a styling based on the design and colors of the ballerinas.
As soon as we started working on the stylings the story took a course of itself and the ballerinas ‘spoke’ to us into the final looks portrayed in the editorial, each one having their own spotlight and shining individually.
