「ユニクロ（UNIQLO）」が、8月5日から18日まで新宿エリアで開催される「SHINJUKU ART WEEK」に参加する。7月27日発売のアンディ・ウォーホルをフィーチャーしたUTコレクション「アンディ・ウォーホル『トランスフォーメーション』」に加え、8月5日から新宿エリアのユニクロ4店舗限定で「UTme!」コレクションを取り扱う。

SHINJUKU ART WEEKは、伊勢丹新宿店が主催となり、新宿三丁目エリアのアートスポットをメインに「アート」の持つ可能性や魅力を紹介。今年は、人生をアートと共に生きる「ひと」と、新宿でアートと共に生きるための衣食住の「アイテム」にフォーカスする。
アンディ・ウォーホル「トランスフォーメーション」では、ウォーホルの作品づくりのきっかけとなった日常のイメージを組み合わせたグラフィックを製作。メンズサイズを4柄展開し、価格は各1990円。UTフルラインナップ店舗およびユニクロ公式オンラインストアで取り扱う。
「UTme!」コレクションでは、アンディ・ウォーホルにフォーカスした全6柄のTシャツを用意。ウォーホルのセルフポートレートと代表的なクオート「Pop art is for everyone」を組み合わせた「フォトT」や、ハートモチーフのシルクスクリーン作品をフィーチャーした「Four Hearts」、赤いハートモチーフの「Red Heart」のほか、Artの文字を円で囲んだモチーフを再構築した「Art」や、1950年代に制作したフラワーモチーフの作品をフィーチャーした「Flower」、「All is pretty」をグラフィカルに表現した「All is pretty」をラインナップする。価格は各1990円。ユニクロ新宿本店、新宿三丁目店、新宿高島屋店、新宿東南口フラッグス店で揃える。
また8月18日までは、ユニクロ新宿本店、ユニクロ新宿三丁目店、伊勢丹新宿店でウィンドウディスプレイを実施する。
